Samuel Stafford is a chartered town planner and a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute’s England Policy Panel.
Sam started his career at a housebuilder in South Yorkshire (Ben Bailey Homes), a planning and landscape consultancy in Lincolnshire (The Robert Doughty Consultancy), and, following a move to Ripponden, Calderdale Council’s development control team.
Sam has also worked for a land and property investment company and also as a planning consultant in multi-disciplinary environments.
Since 2014 Sam has worked for Barratt Developments as a Regional Strategic Land Director, which involves supporting the Barratt and David Wilson Homes businesses in the North West and West Midlands with efforts to grow their strategic land portfolios and promoting sites through the planning system.
