Helen Fadipe. BA(Hons), DipTP, MA, MRTPI is a Planning Consultant and the Director of FPP Associates Ltd. She is an accomplished Chartered Town Planner and Management Consultant with 30 years’ experience working in different capacities both within the public and private sectors. Helen is currently consulting for Buckinghamshire Council (Aylesbury Vale Area) offering interim management and assessing major development schemes.
Helen is a Member of the RTPI General Assembly; Membership and Ethics Committee and member International Strategy Working Group. She was a Judge in the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2020. Helen is the Founder of BAME Planners Network a friendly platform for engagement, support and capacity building for BAME planning professionals in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Helen has a keen interest in repurposed buildings, their quality and impact on the built environment. She carried out a work based study of Conversion of Offices to Residential: A London Case Study in 1996. The paper was later co-published as a seminar paper at XII AESOP Congress 1998. Over the years and more recently, Helen has been involved in schemes involving repurposed buildings.
She has delivered seminars and presentations in United Kingdom and internationally and has actively contributed to place making through development management, strategic polices, masterplanning, and service improvements of planning services.
