Scott has over 35 years of experience in transport planning and development and infrastructure master planning—delivering area-wide transport strategies and major development and infrastructure projects, with a focus on sustainable development strategy and implementation. He worked on the Ebbsfleet station development area (8M square feet), the Krakow transport hub regeneration (4M square feet), the Reading station area renaissance (5M square feet), the Grazeley Garden Settlement (15,000 homes), and the Thames Valley Smart Cities Cluster.

He has spoken at many conferences in the UK and Europe, is a visiting lecturer at the University of Reading for design and management of sustainable urban environments, and he achieved the Outstanding Contribution Award at the 2017 Thames Valley Property Awards for delivering infrastructure, development, and investment across the Thames Valley.
